Mama Micki’s Vegan Cookies

Recently, I received the new line of vegan cookies from Mama Micki’s All Natural Bakery. Mama Micki’s all-natural cookies have more of a homemade flavor and texture than some of the brands of vegan cookies that have gone national. Even though some of these national cookies offer a cookie delivery service, Mama Micki’s still has the best homemade taste.No wonder, as they’re all made by hand, from scratch. If you warm them slightly in the oven or microwave, they have even more of a homemade flair.

Here’s what Micki herself has to say about how she started her vegan line:

“While I was doing a demo at a local health food store that carries my products a very nice man that works there asked me if I baked anything vegan. I responded that I didn’t and we chatted for a while about Vegan baked goods. I enjoyed our conversation and after I left I thought to myself, “I should create a Vegan line so that everyone can enjoy Mama Micki’s delicious baked goods.” So, with inspiration from that conversation, I set to work. I’ve enjoyed the challenge of creating moist and flavorful baked goods without using animal products. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy baking them.”

Mama Micki’s sent me their entire line of vegan cookies to sample: Coconut Almond Bliss, Double Chocolate Flax, Molasses, and Oatmeal-Raisin Sunflower. They were all delectable; my personal favorite was the Oatmeal Raisin. Wait, I must amend that — I never did get to try out the Coconut Almond Bliss, as my coconut-crazy son made off with the entire package. He assures me that they were delicious.

Here are Mama Micki’s vegan baked goods, which consist of the cookies described here as well as a blueberry muffin. Let’s hope Micki’s line of vegan sweets take off so she can create others.
