Lean green juice

To really make this a chlorophyll-rich drink, add spirulina, available at most health food stores. Spirulina has many special benefits including reducing the risk of cancer. Recipe from Warming Up to Living Foods [1] by Elysa Markowitz.

Serves: 2

  • 2 leaves romaine lettuce
  • 2 to 3 apples
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1/2 cup parsley
  • 1 unwaxed cucumber
  • 1/2 cup spinach

Juice all the ingredients together. Serve in fancy glasses.
