Rich Fudge Brownies

By · On Dec 26, 2010

These no-bake brownies are as easy as they are delicious.

Makes: about 2 dozen

  • 1 1/2  cups walnuts
  • 1 1/2  cups sulfite-free raisins or fresh pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup raw cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch of sea salt

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth and balled up.

Remove from bowl and press into square glass dish—alternatively, you can shape into one large square block with your hands.

Freeze until firm, then slice and serve.

  1. I made these for my Hubs for Valentine’s Day. I used the dates and added coconut flakes, then molded them into little hearts. They were so yummy and my choco-holic family devoured them! A keeper recipe!

  2. How sweet, both literally and figuratively! Glad you and yours enjoyed it — a chocolate treat minus the guilt.
