Mother’s Day Book Giveaway: A trio of books to help mom go vegan!
This giveaway is now closed … thanks to all for having entered! Are you interested in helping your mom — or wife, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, or esteemed friend (or even for yourself!) — enjoy a more plant-based diet? Here’s a giveaway featuring three books that will help immensely to that end. And even if it’s someone who doesn’t want to go full-on vegan, these books will help them achieve a healthier lifestyle.
The three books are:
- Never Too Late to Go Vegan: The Over-50 Guide to Adopting and Thriving on a Plant-Based Diet by Carol J. Adams, Patti Breitman, and Virginia Messina, RD (see the recipe for Sweet Potato Salad with Pecans and the article Omega-3 Fats in Plant-Based Diets excerpted from this book)
- I’m Mad as Hell and I’m Not Going to Eat it Any More: Taking Control of Your Health and Your Life — One Vegan Recipe at a Time by Christina Pirello (see the recipe for Italian-Style Greens and Spicy Tempura Sweet Potatoes, and the article Basic Cooking Techniques for the Healthy Kitchen excerpted from this book)
- More Quick-Fix Vegan: Simple, Delicious Recipes in 30 Minutes or Less by Robin Robertson (see the recipes for Mediterranean Polenta Pie and Date-Pecan Bars excerpted from this book)
To enter, simply leave a comment sharing with us who you would give this set of books to, and why! Contest ends at midnight EDT, Tuesday April 29 at midnight. This is a quick turnaround, as we want to make sure these books get to the winner in time for Mother’s Day. Winner will be announced here and on our Facebook page on Wednesday, April 30 at 9:00 am. GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED!
