I have been using the Vegetarian Family Cookbook for years and love all of the recipes! The Alphabet soup is now a staple recipe in my home and was one of the first ways I got my babies/toddlers to eat their veggies!

I started out using this cookbook as a way to save money because meat was so expensive, but now I just like to cook vegetarian because it is so healthy! My kids are now 6 & 8 and we enjoy picking out new vegetarian recipes for them to try. Last night for supper it was apple cinnamon basic yogurt pancakes! (the kids made this on their own!)

Lisa, thanks so much for your kind comment! This book really grew along with my own family in my quest to get my kids to eat a more diverse range of foods. So it’s filled with not only recipes, but memories. So glad you and yours have found it useful as well!

I got this book…used….and it has quickly become my go to book…..lots of other folks are re-vamping older cookbooks and re-publishing them….I HIGHLY recommend you do that with this book. I have a (majorly)big collection of vegan cookbooks that I read like a novel, and I truly love this book!!!!! I think it needs some more recent attention! :-)
