    Spinach Pear Juice

Published: May 13, 2014 · Updated: Aug 2, 2021 · This post may contain affiliate links.

Spinach is always such a wallflower at the juice flavor party. And while it’s quite obvious from its appearance that this juice contains greens, I’d challenge anyone to a blindfold taste test—pear is very clearly the dominant flavor here. The riper the pear, the better the flavor. Reprinted with permission from Superfood Juices: 100 Delicious, Energizing & Nutrient-Dense Recipes* © 2014 by Julie Morris, Sterling Publishing Co., Inc. Makes 16 ounces

    • 1 ripe pear, cored
    • 1 1⁄2 cucumbers
    • 1 large handful spinach
    • Sweetener, to taste

Juice the pear, cucumbers, and spinach. Taste, and add stevia (or preferred sweetener) as desired.

    Juice Boost
Add ¼ teaspoon (or more) spirulina powder to this blend for an extra superfood boost.

Ever since my husband and I finished our juice cleanse, we've been making a juice every morning. I'll have to try this one tomorrow with the pears that are quickly fading!
